Two membership-based online websites offer cost savings for generic medications:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Amazon Prime members can obtain eligible generic medications for one flat fee of $5 per month through its<a href=\"https:\/\/pharmacy.amazon.com\/rxpass\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">&nbsp;<strong>Amazon Prime RxPass<\/strong><\/a>&nbsp;benefit.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/markcubancostplusdrugcompany.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Mark Cuban CostPlus Drug Company<\/strong><\/a>&nbsp;offers a limited number of&nbsp; generic medications at cost to members. The company says it cuts out the many middlemen involved in the sale of prescription drugs and instead buys them directly from pharmaceutical companies and sells them almost at cost.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>If a pharmacy doesn&#8217;t regularly stock a certain generic asthma medication, ask if it can be ordered for you at no additional cost.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Contact non-profit organizations that help uninsured and under-insured people<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>If you are uninsured or under-insured, non-profit organizations and foundations are available to help reduce financial barriers. <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Organizations<\/span> that help uninsured people include <a href=\"https:\/\/www.needymeds.org\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>NeedyMeds<\/strong><\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rxassist.org\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>RX Assist<\/strong><\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rxhope.com\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>RX Hope<\/strong><\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/accessiahealth.org\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Accessia Health<\/strong><\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pparx.org\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Partnership for Prescription Assistance<\/strong><\/a>.
